Job: A5 Folder for ARC
Cairn Board Almond
Description: Arc, the Architecture Centre for Hull, wanted to produce a folder for their range of A5 publications. Their brief was to use 'an interesting material with ecological credentials' and to have a die cut of famous Hull landmarks on the flap. Ranch immediately turned to PaperBack, and selected Cairn board, as it is a truly different and unusual material, and has the 'thickness' to enable the die cutting to be durable. Arc needed to have their light blue logo on the cover, so the folder had to be screenprinted to enable this to be legible.
